Currently a Professor of Public Education in the Centre for Public Education and Pedagogy at Maynooth University, Ireland and a Professor of Educational Theory and Pedagogy at the Moray House School of Education and Sport at the University of Edinburgh, UK, much of his work critically examines questions of democracy in education and education research.
